Invitation to Participate in the Selection of Partners for Independent Power Producer (IPP) Projects With PT Indonesia Power

PT Indonesia Power (IP) is a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero) with diversified businesses including power generation, operation and maintenance, and engineering, procurement and construction. IP have received assignments from PLN to develop power plants under an Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme, while retaining majority stake in each project.

IP hereby announce the commencement of a competitive process to select suitable equity partners to develop, finance, build and operate Jambi-1 Mine-Mouth IPP (2 x 300 MW), located in Jambi Province, Sumatra. This IPP project has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PLN to be fast tracked for execution and implementation.

IP have appointed PT KPMG Siddharta Advisory as financial and commercial advisor to assist in the selection of partners for Jambi-1 Mine-mouth (2 x 300 MW) IPP.

Interested parties, having experience of undertaking similar projects, are invited to express their interest to participate in the selection process, by email to be received by IP no later than 3:00 PM WIST on 28 February 2019, with the following details:

Upon receipt of the email, IP will assess the submission to select and confirm companies to be invited to Request for Qualification (RFQ) process. Additional information on the IPP projects and subsequent procedures will be provided in due course.
